About this course

This course is an innovative Japanese language learning program for effectively learning the Japanese language in a short period of time.
The Japanese language is said to be one of the most difficult languages to learn. To make it easier to learn, in this course, the grammar of the Japanese language is visualized using cards with different shapes and colors that represent the parts of speech and conjugation. Adopting this unique method, this course realizes a stereographic learning system through a learning website, smartphone apps, and textbooks.
The learning website features a wide variety of interesting contents, including “Grammar interpretation videos” by Principal Ezoe (Shinjuku Japanese Language Institute), “Scene dialog videos” for visually showing in what situations the grammar learnt is used, “Understanding level quiz” for checking the level of understanding for the grammar learnt, and “Textbooks” that describe the contents of these video clips in an easy-to-understand manner.
Two types of smartphone apps are available, the “Words” app and the “Grammar” app, enabling learning the Japanese language as if playing a game. The “Words” app covers the meaning of Japanese words, their pronunciation, and conjugation of verbs, while the “Grammar” app covers sentence problems and vocabulary and expressions that are easy to be misused.

For enrollees who want to keep learning the Japanese language after completing the MOOC course (free edition), we are preparing a paid version e-learning course, “VISUAL LEARNING .JAPANESE.” Please look forward to it!

[Notice]
“VISUAL LEARNING .JAPANESE (Paid Version e-Learning),” the course that is a step above this course, was planned to open in March of 2017, but in conjunction with factors such as a review of the curriculum content, there has been a delay in the course creation work. For this reason, the course opening period is undetermined. We will announce you again with information on this page, when the course opening period has been determined.
